CipherPlus Privacy Policy

CipherPlus is a temporary, gamified cybersecurity application designed for business owners, entrepreneurs, and cyber enthusiasts. This app is intended for demonstration purposes and will automatically self-destruct after 3 hours of use, permanently erasing all data.

1. Data We Collect

• User profile: username, company URL (optional), device identifier
• Usage data: scans performed, threats found, XP earned, badges unlocked, quiz attempts, current level
• Scan results: URL/domain, threat level, risk score, IP address, location, detection details
• Quiz data: questions answered, scores, and time spent
• Achievement and progression data

No email addresses, phone numbers, or financial information are collected.

2. How We Use Your Data

All collected data is used solely to provide the app’s features - gamified quizzes, URL scanning, threat intelligence, and achievement tracking - during the 3-hour session.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Firebase Firestore using encryption at rest and in transit. No plain-text storage occurs.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party under any circumstances.

5. Data Deletion

This application automatically deletes all data after 3 hours of use. There is no manual deletion option and no recovery is possible - even for us.

6. Your Rights

Because all data is ephemeral and automatically erased within 3 hours, no long-term data rights or deletion requests apply.
